Fisherman missing in sea collision

MAGUINDANAO, Philippines   â€“ Members of a search and rescue team are searching for a fisherman who fell from a motorboat that collided with another boat Sunday night at the Illana Bay, about five kilometers off Parang town in this province.

The missing fisherman, Musib Talib, 53; his wife Nora, 50; and their children, six-year-old Norhata and Farhana, 13, were on their way to Parang town from Bongo Island when the collision occurred.

Talib was thrown overboard while his wife and children were hurt in the incident. No one was reported killed or injured from among the passengers and crewmembers of the other boat.

Nora and the children were brought to the Cotabato Regional Medical Center in Cotabato City for treatment.
