9-hour P’sinan power outage set

DAGUPAN CITY , Philippines  â€“ The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) has set a nine-hour power outage in two cities and 12 towns in Pangasinan on March 25, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The scheduled power interruption will affect the cities of Dagupan and Alaminos and the towns of Labrador, Sual, Mabini, Burgos, Dasol, Infanta, Agno, Bani, Anda, Bolinao, Calasiao, and Sta. Barbara.

Lilibeth Gaydowen, NGCP corporate communication and public affairs officer for North Luzon, yesterday said the Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative and Pangasinan III Electric Cooperative will hold an annual preventive maintenance and testing of the 100-megavolt ampere power transformer at the Labrador substation. 

Regular maintenance along the Labrador-Bani-Bolinao 69-kilovolt line will also be conducted, she added.
