Ed Amoroso - The Philippine Star

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – A week after the sinking of a fishing boat off Cavite, authorities yesterday said the bodies of two more fishermen were recovered, bringing the death toll to eight.

Reports reaching the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Region 4-A said the body of fisherman Roniel Ochena was found floating near the shore in Mariveles, Bataan yesterday, while another body, still unidentified, was recovered near Caballo Island.

Search continues for two more missing fishermen of the boat, which carried 23 men when it sank after being rammed by a cargo vessel last March 12.
