Contractor killed in Cagayan ambush

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Police are looking into business rivalry and old grudge behind the ambush-slay of a 61-year-old contractor in this city Friday night.

Superintendent Jay Cumigad, city police chief, identified the victim as Agerico Liban, who suffered four gunshot wounds.

Reports stated that Liban was driving home his Toyota Fortuner when two men on a motorcycle shot him.

Police are still investigating the case.
