3 drug pushers slain in Bulacan shootout

MALOLOS CITY, Philippines   â€“ Three suspected drug pushers were killed in a shootout with lawmen in San Jose del Monte (SJDM) City, Bulacan yesterday morning.

Superintendent Joel Estares, SJDM City police chief, said only one of the slain suspects was identified as Winston Paramio.

Estares said his men were about to serve an arrest warrant to Paramio when his cohorts fired at them, triggering a gunfight. Paramio did not reach the hospital alive. 

Police recovered a grenade, a .38-caliber revolver, drug paraphernalia and suspected shabu from Paramio’s slain cohorts, while Paramio yielded a .38-caliber revolver and a .45-caliber pistol.
