MANILA, Philippines - A fire broke out Tuesday before noon at the University of Sto. Tomas Hospital in Manila.
Radio reports said that the blaze started at the portion of the laboratory room of the UST outpatient department at the 6th floor of the building in Sampaloc, Manila.
The flames however were already put under control by responding firefighters who evacuated medical personnel and patients from the area, reports added.
Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause and the extent of the damage as of this posting.
