NBI tells condo to submit Jan. 17 Vhong, Deniece footage
MANILA, Philippines - The National Bureau of Investigation on Thursday asked the security agency of the condominium, where TV host Vhong Navarro was reportedly mauled, for the CCTV footage when he first went to the unit of Deniece Cornejo.
Assistant Regional director Vicente of the NBI-National Capital Region said the agency sent summons for the CCTV footage taken on Jan. 17.
"We want to know if he indeed went there on that date," de Guzman said.
In his affidavit, Navarro said he went to Cornejo's unit at Forbeswoods Heights condo on the night of Jan. 17.
He claimed he was driven to the place by his driver Rommel to the Cornejo's flat around 11 p.m.
While inside the unit, Navarro said he and Cornejo had white wine after which they had sex.
He said he left Cornejo's place around 1:30 a.m. of Jan. 18.
De Guzman said they had sent summons for the Jan.17 CCTV footage but the Megaforce Security agency had not complied with the request.
"They have yet to comply with our request so we sent another summons," he said.
