P2.1-M shabu confiscated, 2 pushers fall in Pampanga
SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga , Philippines – Two suspected big-time drug pushers were arrested and shabu worth P2.1 million was confiscated in a police buy-bust operation in Guagua town this province on Saturday.
Arrested were Patricio Lim, 41, and Allan Adriano, 45, while a cohort, a certain Walter Santos, escaped, according to Senior Superintendent Oscar Albayalde, Pampanga police director.
Confiscated from Lim and Adriano were a plastic sachet containing shabu, six plastic packs of shabu weighing 300 grams with an estimated street value of P2.1 million, an improvised glass pipe and aluminum foil strip with shabu residues, a .45-caliber pistol with six bullets, and P3,000 in marked money.
Albayalde said the arrest came after a month-long surveillance.
Early last year, police arrested a Taiwanese national and confiscated P162 million worth of shabu in a subdivision in Mexico town.
