3 dead as van rams truck on NLEX - report

MANILA, Philippines - Three persons were killed after the van they were riding on smashed into a parked truck along the North Luzon Expressway in Bulacan on Tuesday.

A radio report said that the passengers were rushed to a hospital but doctors could no longer revive them.

The victims' vehicle bound for Manila was speeding along NLEX in Sta. Rita, Bulacan when it rammed a truck that was parked on the shoulder of expressway, the report added.

Police are still investigating the accident.
