MANILA, Philippines - Police arrested the second most wanted fugitive in Camarines Sur, the Philippine National Police said on Monday.
In a report, the PNP said policemen chanced upon Leo Espartinez, 27, a fugitive in Tinambac town in Brgy. Antipolo last Jan. 4.
Authorities were armed with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Pedro Redona of the Calabanga Regional Trial Court branch 63 on Espartinez for statutory rape case, the report added.
The court has recommended no bail for Espartinez, who is now under the custody of the Tinambac municipal police, the PNP said.
