Indian trader killed in Surigao attack

BUTUAN CITY, Philippines - – An Indian money lender was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Sison town in Surigao del Norte Monday.

Jugraj Singh, 38, died on the spot due to a gunshot to the head, a report from the the municipal police said.

Singh had just got off his motorcycle when the attack occurred in Barangay Mabuhay.

Police have yet to determine if the killing had something to do with the victim’s money-lending business.
