MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude 4.3 earthquake shook parts of Western Visayas yesterday but did not cause damage or injuries, state seismologists said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the tremor, with its epicenter traced some 32 kilometers northeast of San Jose de Buenavista, Antique, occurred at 12:48 p.m.
The quake was felt at Intensity 3 in Tibiao, Culasi, San Jose, Barbaza and Laua-an in Antique and in Caticlan, Aklan and Iloilo City.
The quake was also felt at Intensity 2 in Boracay Island and Sibalom and Sebaste in Antique.
