BACOLOD City, Philippines – Two inmates of the Negros Occidental District Jail escaped last week by using a bamboo ladder to jump over the fence of the compound in Barangay Tabunan in Bago City.
Authorities launched a manhunt for Jimmy Sablon, 35, and Charlie Duran, 25, of La Castellana and Calatrava town, respectively, who escaped on Thursday morning.
Police said Sablon is facing illegal firearms charges while Duran has been charged with murder.
