MALOLOS CITY, Philippines – The helicopter that crashed in Manila Bay while on its way to deliver relief goods for the survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda over a week ago has been found in the waters off Obando, Bulacan.
Obando Mayor Edwin Santos said an unidentified fisherman found the helicopter when his fishing net got snagged on Sunday morning.
Santos dispatched a team of police officers to check on the wreckage of the Bolkow 105 helicopter.
He said the helicopter was in 12 feet of water near the coastal villages of Binuangan in Obando and Pamarawan in Malolos City.
