3 hurt in BGC construction site mishap

MANILA, Philippines - Three welders working at the construction of the Shangri-La Hotel at the Bonifacio Global City in front of the Mind Museum collapsed Saturday afternoon.

Taguig City Police chief, Supt. Annie Bodanio said those injured were rushed to the nearby St. Luke's Hospital after the accident which occurred at about 1:45 p.m.

Bodanio identified the injured workers as Cet Guinalayo of Florentina St., Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City: Ryan Saminillo of Purok Mangahaer Village Parañaque and Jay-ar Buising, a stay-in worker.

According to witnesses, the three welders were working on the overhead street protector when it suddenly collapsed, sending them crashing down the street.
