MANILA, Philippines - One was killed Thursday night after being pinned by a collapsed wall during flashflood in Davao City.
A radio report said on Friday that Gil Arcena, 57, died after a wall near his residence fell during heavy downpour Thursday.
Due to the flashfloods, authorities have evacuated about 40 families from La Verna Subdivision, Marla's Compound Area, Roseville Phase 1 & 2, San Miguel, and a portion of Tigatto, the report added.
