CAINTA, Rizal, Philippines – This town’s mayor has vowed to uplift the lives of the less fortunate by making sure that every community here would be a safer place to live in.
Mayor Keith Nieto thanked his constituents for supporting his programs and projects, particularly to Vice Mayor Pia Velasco and the municipal council who shared his commitment to push the town’s development.
“Our efforts are geared toward ensuring that my administration will provide the assistance that our people rightfully deserve… We have been given the mandate by our people to lead them to better times,†said the first-term mayor in his speech marking his first 100 days in office.
Among other accomplishments, Nieto cited the delivery of health services, including the construction of new health centers and lying-in clinics, upgrading of the municipal hospital, free consultations and check-ups, and the “Libreng Gamot†program.
