Armed men torch buses

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan, Philippines   â€“ Authorities remain clueless on the identities of five armed men who set two buses on fire at the Five Star Bus terminal in Barangay Tempra Guilig here Saturday night.

Probers told The STAR yesterday that they are still investigating the case in order to identify the suspects and the motive for the incident, according to Police Officer 2 Frederick Senin.

Reports said the armed men arrived at the terminal with containers of gasoline and disarmed security Bernardo Gombio, 42, of Mangaldan town.

Investigators recovered four burnt plastic containers and a lighter from the scene.
