LAOAC, Pangasinan, Philippines – A Piper Seneca training plane crash-landed in a rice field here yesterday morning, with all its four passengers unhurt.
Police said those on board were Capt. Amar Deep, 27, a Malaysian pilot, and his Indian co-pilot Haresh Sager, 20, and two aircraft mechanic trainees, Deovannie Arzadon and Jemar Pantaleon, both Filipinos.
Senior Inspector Christopher Natnat, Laoac police chief, told The STAR they were conducting bike patrol in Barangay D. Alarcio when they saw the plane flying low. About 10 minutes after they had left the area, someone alerted them about a crash-landing.
An ambulance and rescue team promptly rushed to the area, but the four passengers of the plane declined to be taken to a hospital, as they had no injuries, Natnat said.
Police checked the area for any gas leak but found none.
The plane’s two tires were damaged due to the impact of the crash-landing.
The plane, with body marking of RP-C1034, was registered under the WCC Aeronautics Flying School based in Barangay Linmansangan, Binalonan town.
