CALAPAN CITY, Philippines – The national and local governments have allocated P870 million for the proposed jetty port in Bulalacao town and the restoration of the Pinamalayan airport, both in Oriental Mindoro.
Oriental Mindoro Gov. Alfonso Umali Jr. announced during the recent weekly meeting of the provincial government management committee that all port development projects would go full-blast next year.
Umali said the P800-million budget for the Bulalacao port project has been approved by the Philippine Ports Authority.
