22 inmates bolt jail in Bukidnon

MANILA, Philippines - Some 22 inmates bolted  a city jail in Bukidnon Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine National Police reported.

PNP spokesperson Senior Supt. Reuben Sindac, quoting Police chief Inspector Surki Senenas of the Police Regional Office 10 Tactical Operations, said the jailbreak happened around 3:30 p.m. at the jail in Brgy. Pinatilan, Valencia City.
 
The escapees were led by Dionecio Daulog, Albert Espinosa, a certain Khalid and Tacoy, Sindac said.
 
Tracker teams managed to recapture one of the inmates, who yielded a shotgun and two getaway motorcycles.
 
Security forces are now conducting pursuit operations as of this posting.
