CALAPAN CITY , Philippines – Fifteen projects worth more than P148 million are being rushed by the Southern Mindoro District Engineering Office (SMDEO) of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in seven towns in the second district of Oriental Mindoro.
District engineer Magtanggol Roldan, SMDEO head, said in his latest report to DPWH Secretary Rogelio Singson that his office is working doubly hard on the 15 public works projects to beat the rainy season and finish them within the year.
The projects are spread out in the towns of Pinamalayan, Gloria, Bansud, Bongabong, Roxas, Mansalay and Bulalacao.
