MANILA, Philippines - A 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck parts of Leyte province early yesterday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at 4:17 a.m. with its epicenter traced at one kilometer southeast of Capoocan. It was felt at Intensity 3 in Capoocan and Carigara, Leyte, and Intensity 2 in Tunga and Kananga, Leyte.
