MANILA, Philippines - A portion of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) collapsed Tuesday afternoon, a local official said.
Porac town Vice Mayor Dexter Albert David told Philtar.com that a part of the Pasig-Potrero bridge in their area collapsed following a landslide that took place at around 4 p.m.
Twitter user Vicoy Ong, meanwhile, posted a shot of the bridge that caved in amid severe weather conditions affecting a large part of Luzon.
Ong said that authorities have prohibited motorists from using the collapsed portion of the highway for safety.
