2 farmers killed by lightning

BANI, Pangasinan, Philippines  â€“ Two farmers were killed after they were hit by lightning in Barangay Garita, Saturday night.

The bodies of Ronald Paz, 45, and his cousin Mario de Leon, 14, were found in the rice field the next morning.

The victims were reportedly on their way home when lightning struck.

Meanwhile, two brothers were shot dead by still unidentified gunmen in Barangay Catablan, Urdaneta City Saturday night.

Renato Magallanes, 39, and Roberto Magallanes, 49, both farmers of Sitio Calegu, were riding a tractor on their way home when they were attacked.

Police recovered six caliber .45 slugs from the crime scene.
