MANILA, Philippines - Eight domestic flights bound for Northern Luzon and Visayas were cancelled Wednesday due to the bad weather spawned by Typhoon Labuyo.
Among those cancelled were six from Cebu Pacific bound from Manila to and from Virac, Catanduanes; Tuguegarao, Cagayan; and Cauayan, Isabela.
A Philippine Airlines Express also cancelled two flights to and from Manila and Basco, Batanes.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has placed under storm signal alert over more than 30 areas in Luzon, including Metro Manila which was placed under signal number 1.
