Classes in Metro Manila suspended due to 'Labuyo'

MANILA, Philippines - Classes in several areas in Metro Manila were suspended due to fears of flooding as Typhoon "Labuyo" slammed into Northern Luzon on Monday.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) areas that have suspended classes as of 4 a.m. were:

Valenzuela City
Caloocan City
Laguna
Cavite
San Mateo town in Rizal

Preschool to High School

Angono (Rizal)
Baras (Rizal)
Cainta (Rizal)
Morong (Rizal)

Taytay (Rizal)
Bulacan
Las Pinas
Makati City
Mandaluyong City
