MANILA, Philippines - After more than a month, a 39-year-old trader from Dumaguete City finally surfaced on Monday afternoon at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in Pasay City to claim the P53-million jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw last June 28.
Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO general manager, said the winner, who is married but childless, got the six-digit winning combination of 20-19-42-18-32-1 which had a jackpot of P53,987,876.
The winner, Rojas said, has been a lotto bettor since 2001, picking numbers at random and winning consolation prizes.
