3rd drug ring member nabbed in Bukidnon

MANILA, Philippines - Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Ageny arrested another suspected member of a drug ring based in Bukidnon during a buy bust operation, the PDEA said on Tuesday.
PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. said Alfredo Rulida, 42, a value targeted personality of PDEA was nabbed by agents last Aug. 3.
He said Rulida is a member of the notorious Bukidnon drug group.
Cacdac said that last August 3, elements of PDEA Regional Office 10 conducted a buy-bust operation at Barangay 1B, Poblacion Quezon, Bukidnon which resulted in the arrest of Rulida.
Anti-narcotics agents also seized more or less 25 grams of suspected shabu contained in 21 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, a motorcycle without plate number, a hand grenade, and various pieces of drug paraphernalia.
The pieces of drug evidence were brought to the Philippine National Police crime laboratory for forensic examination.
Last June, two Bukidnon drug group members-- Virgo Gempisao, 41; and Ricky Salcedo, 43-- were also arrested by PDEA operatives.
