5 teenagers nabbed for motorbike thefts

LAGUNA, Philippines   â€“ Five teenagers as young as 15 years old were nabbed while unloading two stolen motorcycles from a Tamaraw FX in Barangay La Mesa, Calamba City this province Saturday morning.

Superintendent Marvin Saro, Calamba police chief, said the arrested teeners are facing car theft charges but have been placed under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

SPO1 Alaindelon Ignacio, who is handling the case, said prior to the arrest, a teacher reported to authorities that unidentified men forcibly took his Suzuki motorcycle parked in front of his house in Barangay Looc early Saturday morning.
