PDEA nabs No.2 drug suspect in CamSur

MANILA, Philippines - Anti-narcotics agents arrested Camarines Sur's No. 2 drug personality and his relative in an operation over the weekend, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Thursday.

PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspects as Jomar Portacio, 29, of Barangay Sagrada, Baao, Camarines Sur; and Joseph Masi, 29. Portacio listed No. 2 in the list of top drug personalities in Camarines Sur.

Portacio and Masi were arrested by anti-narcotics agents after a search on their residence in Barangay Sagrada last July 13.

Recovered during the search were 6 sachets of suspected shabu, a .45 pistol; two .45 caliber magazines and several pieces of drug paraphernalia.
