2 drug pushers fall in Iligan, Oriental Mindoro

MANILA, Philippines - Anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) apprehended two suspected drug pushers in separate buy-bust operations in IIligan City and Oriental Mindoro.
The PDEA identified the suspects as Gilbert Sayson, 48, of Purok 6, Saray, Iligan City, listed as top 12 high-value target drug personality; and Romeo Dimatulac Jr., 46, of Brgy. Paclasan, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro.
The PDEA said Sayson was arrested last July 12 around 1 p.m. by operatives in his neighborhood during a sting operation.
Authorities also confiscated from the suspect 15 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, a plastic pack containing several empty sachets and the P300 marked money used by the operatives in the operation.
Meanwhile, PDEA operatives conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Paclasan, Pinamalayan, Roxas, Oriental Mindoro last July 14, which resulted to the arrest of Dimatulac.
Seized from the suspects’ possession were five small heat sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.
