MANILA, Philippines - A moderate quake struck Quirino province on Tuesday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
Phivolcs said a 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck 20 kilometers southeast of Nagtipunan, Quirono at 10:48 p.m.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, was traced at a depth of 21 kilometers.
It was felt at Intensity 4 in Maddela town in the same province.
Phivolcs said it is not expecting aftershocks.
