SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines  â€“ Two businessmen were shot dead in Barangay Dolores Monday night.

Manuel Vendiola, 62, died on the spot due to a gunshot wound in the head and body while Charlie Tolentino, 57, died while being treated at a nearby hospital.

City police chief Superintendent Ric David said Vendiola was talking to Tolentino in front of the latter’s carwash facility when a gunman shot them.

Witnesses said the gunman walked away after the shooting and fled on a motorcycle driven by another man.

Police believe the gunmen were hired killers. Several .45 caliber bullet casings were recovered at the crime scene.
