Young pusher yields P5.2M worth of shabu

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency anti-narcotics agents nabbed a 23-year-pusher who yielded P5.2 million worth of drugs during an entrapment operation in Parañaque  City.

PDEA director general Arturo  Cacdac Jr. identified the suspect as Oliver Sarreal, of Dangay Street, Bacoor, Cavite.

Cacdac said that on July 2, around 5 p.m., operatives of PDEA Special Enforcement Service arrested Sarreal along Dr. Arcadio Santos Avenue, Barangay San Isidro, Parañaque after he sold 10 knot-tied transparent plastic sachets containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, weighing approximately one kilogram.

The seized illegal drug has an estimated market value of P5.2 million, the PDEA said.

Also confiscated from Sarreal were the P2,000 buy-bust money and a 2013 Toyota Fortuner (TU- 8700).

Sarreal is now held at the PDEA detention facility in Quezon City while the drugs were submitted to the PDEA Laboratory Service for chemical analysis. - Dennis Carcamo
