MANILA, Philippines - Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested a government employee during a buy-bust operation in Sarangani province, the PDEA said on Wednesday.

The PDEA said the suspect, Jorge Mosquito, 49, quarantine inspector of Sarangani Provincial Capitol veterinary office, is the no. 8 priority target drug personality in the province.

Mosquito was arrested by elements of PDEA Regional Office 12 during a sting operation conducted at PVET Local Government Unit Monitoring Checkpoint, Crossing Maribulan, Alabel, Sarangani last June 28.

Operatives seized from the suspect a small heat-sealed plastic transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and two pieces of P500 bills used as marked money.

Confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Philippine National Police office in General Santos City for forensic examination.
