No interpreter for 4 Sinos in gun raps

The Philippine Star

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya , Philippines   – Last Thursday’s arraignment of four Chinese nationals charged with illegal possession of firearms and explosives in Ilocos Norte has been reset for next week due to the lack of an interpreter for them.
The local prosecutor’s office said the arraignment of Lei Guang, Dang Hoi Yin, Lui Xin Fen and Dennis Min Co at the Regional Trial Court Branch 19 in Bangui town has been postponed to Monday.
Their legal counsel has filed a motion to hold the arraignment in abeyance and quash the cases filed against them. They were arrested at a police checkpoint in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte last May 28.  – Charlie Lagasca, Raymund Catindig, Teddy Molina
