MANILA, Philippines - A suspected pusher in Cebu was arrested by undercover agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation, the PDEA said on Monday.
PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. said the suspect identified as Maria Teresa Sarajina, 42, of Gorordo Avenue, Lahug, Cebu City, was nabbed last May 23 at around 4:45 p.m. in a sting operation in Sitio Sudlon, Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
Sarajina was arrested after selling one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu to an undercover agent who acted as poseur-buyer.
After the arrest, agents also recovered from Sarajina’s possession 20 pieces of plastic sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, and the buy-bust money.
