BENGUET, Philippines - Three people were hurt after a six-wheeler truck plunged into a 20-foot ravine along Camp 4 in Tuba town on Friday afternoon.
The Tuba police identified one of the victims as Arnold Calatan, 20, a resident of Barangay Balcbac in Baguio City and the driver of the truck.
The truck plunged into the ravine at around 1:30 p.m. while the driver was driving it the lowlands to haul sand.
Tuba police station commander Chief Inspector William Willie believed that the accident was caused by human error. He said that they learned the truck driver was drunk.
