40 families left homeless in Zambo City fire

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines– Forty families were left homeless in a fire that destroyed eight houses in Barangay San Jose Gusu on Friday.

No one was hurt in the blaze that reportedly started in one of the houses made of light materials.

City fire marshal Senior Superintendent Dominador Zabala Jr. said initial investigation showed faulty wiring as the cause of the fire.
