MANILA, Philippines - The Makati Police is now on the hunt for the driver of a gray Honda Civic who hit a motorcycle  along J.P. Rizal St. in Barangay Tejeros early Monday killing a 19-year old man and his 14-year old passenger.

Mardy Domingo of the Makati Traffic Section said witnesses failed to jot down the license plate of the sedan as it sped off along J.P. Rizal St. going to Manila at about 3:30 am.

Victims Roberto Hernandez, 19, and Janmike Oroyo, 14, both residents of Barangay Kasilawan, died at the Sta. Ana Hospital where bystanders rushed them for emergency treatment of head and body injuries.

Police said the victims were not wearing helmets when they were thrown off the motorcycle and landed hard on the pavement.

According to the Makati Police, they have tapped the help of the Manila Police for the possible apprehension of the suspect who will be facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and abandonment of one's victims.
