Councilor held for guns

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – A municipal councilor was arrested in La Union for allegedly violating the election gun ban yesterday.
Samuel Pang, councilor of Tubao town in La Union, was arrested after police officers raided his house in Magsaysay Village and reportedly found several handguns.
In Apayao, Jomar Takket, 36, and Ramos Dacro, were arrested in police operations in Luna and Cabugao towns, respectively, for gun possession.– Charlie Lagasca, Raymund Catindig
