DPWH to build road to Kapurpurawan

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is spending P70 million to build a road leading to the Kapurpurawan rock formation in Ilocos Norte.

DPWH Secretary Rogelio Singson, in a statement, said it would take five months to finish the 3.466-kilometer access road to Kapurpurawan, one of top tourist destinations in Ilocos Norte.

The project is part of the Convergence Program for Enhancing Tourism Access of the DPWH and Department of Tourism.
