Cambodian drowns in Ifugao waterfall

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – A 21-year-old Cambodian tourist drowned while frolicking at a waterfall in Banaue, Ifugao over the weekend.

Kim Lin’s body was recovered a few hours after he was reported to have drowned at the Tapia Falls in Batad village.

Ifugao police director Senior Superintendent Angelito Casimiro said Lin, who was a vacationing student from Seoul, Korea, was last seen alive frolicking at the falls amid heavy rains Sunday afternoon. – Charlie Lagasca, Raymund Catindig
