TUCP seeks P80 wage hike in Southern Mindanao

The Philippine Star

DAVAO CITY, Philippines – The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) filed before the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board the other day a petition for a P80 wage increase for workers in Southern Mindanao.

TUCP Rep. Raymond Mendoza said the continued increase in the prices of commodities and other basic needs prompted the labor group to file the petition which, if approved, would raise the minimum wage in the region from P301 to P381.
