MANILA, Philippines - The summer may be bringing warmer temperatures to the entire country, but the weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Monday said a new low pressure area was spotted east of Mindanao.
"At 2 a.m. today, a low pressure area was estimated based on all available data at 1,150 kilometers east of Mindanao," PAGASA said.
Eastern Visayas and Caraga will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
"Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have generally good weather except for isolated thunderstorms mostly in the afternon or evening," PAGASA said.
Temperatures will range between 22.7 degree Celsius and 34.3 degree Celsius.
