2 fugitives fall in Quezon

Police have arrested two of the most wanted persons in Quezon during a manhunt operation in the province.

Senior Superintendent Diornado Carlos, Laguna provincial police director, said authorities apprehended farmers Santiago Medenilla, 53; and Anisa Medenilla, 26; both of of Brgy Punta San Narciso, Quezon, around 10:30 a.m. at Brgy. White Cliff, San Francisco Quezon.

The two were nabbed by virtue of arrest warrants for murder and frustrated murder both issued by Judge Ma. ChonaE Pulgar- Navarr of Gumaca Regional Trial Court branch 61.

The court recommended no bail for murder and a bail of P200,000 for frustrated murder.

Records showed that both were accused for the killing of a certain Jose Menchero and wounded his companion, Arnel Cajalino on Aug. 14, 2010  at Brgy Punta San Narciso, Quezon.
