MACALELON, Quezon, Philippines – It happened again. A 100-meter hanging bridge built in 1996 gave way again last Tuesday, injuring 10 high school students aged 12 to 17 who were crossing it, authorities said.

The hanging bridge first collapsed in September 2011 while students were crossing it, leaving one dead and four others hurt.
