BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – The death toll in the collision of a meat delivery truck and a tourist bus bearing students and teachers of the Marinduque State College on an educational tour in Benguet last Saturday, has climbed to eight.
This, after student Joanna Pisara, who had been at the intensive care unit of the Baguio General Hospital, died Wednesday afternoon.
The mishap also left two of Pisara’s teachers and three classmates, their tour guide and alternate driver dead on the spot.
Still confined at the Baguio General Hospital are students Florelyn Zulueta, Shery May Rufugo and Almar Reginio, and driver Roger Albayalde.
