Court employees to get wages via ATMs

Edu Punay - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The salaries, allowances and other benefits of judges and court employees in the provinces will now be available through automated teller machines (ATMs).

The Supreme Court has implemented an automated payroll system for its provincial employees as provided in Circular No. 18-2013 and pursuant to the memorandum of agreement it forged with the Land Bank of the Philippines in October 2006.

”Executive judges and clerks of court shall coordinate with the LBP branch manager as to the opening of the individual ATM payroll savings account of judges and court personnel,” the order stated.
